What would have been just another wedding at our chosen venue in the remote bushveld, was turned by Charmaine into something spectacular. It started with the venue’s sloppy handling of the décor and use of inferior furniture, which frustrated me and my husband to be, to no end. Charmaine calmly stepped in and assured us that she would take care of it. She injected her creativity and artistry into every detail, orchestrating the replacement of everything deemed unfit and knitting it all together in a way only she can. Not only did everything look fantastic, but the way it was arranged allowed the guests a lot of freedom. Guests could easily find a thoughtfully laid out, warm, quiet place if they wanted to escape the noise, from where the rest were partying it up. If it got cold, guests could warm up by the fire without being separated from the festivities. The layout allowed a flow of movement that made sense, and nothing was out of place. Everything was beautiful and added a sense of finesse to the occasion that contrasted beautifully with the harsh surroundings of nature. The lighting was moody or spectacular where it needed to be and lit up the surroundings and the flowers perfectly. It ended up a dream wedding we will never forget!
